Resolution authorizing the Director of the Department of Innovation and Performance, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to enter into an agreement or agreements with certain individuals in conjunction with the Department of Innovation and Performance’s “Pro-Code-O” program that will provide additional support for the Innovation and Performance initiatives at no cost to the City.

WHEREAS, The CITY’s Department of Innovation and Performance (“I&P”) Data Services Engineering team is embarking on various projects including supporting the CITY’s ongoing ETL migration to Google Cloud platform and assisting with other software integrations and application development
WHEREAS, I&P, through its Pro-Code-O program, is seeking software engineers to join as part-time fellows for a four-month, pro-bono engagement to provide supporting work on these projects and gain valuable experience and recognition as a result; and
WHEREAS, the City seeks to enter into agreements with individuals interested in participating in the Pro-Code-O Program to provide significant contributions to City services at no additional cost to the City.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Director of the Department of Innovation and Performance is authorized, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to enter into an agreement or agreements with certain individuals in conjunction with the Department of Innovation and Performance’s “Pro-Code-O” program that will provide additional support for the Innovation and Performance initiatives at no cost to the City.
