Resolution amending Resolution No. 279 of 2020, effective June 26, 2020, entitled, “Resolution amending Resolution No. 560 of 2019, effective September 1, 2019, entitled ‘Resolution providing for the execution of a Cooperation Agreement or Agreements with the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh for the performance of certain work in connection with the 2019-2020 Community Development Block Grant Program, and providing for the payment of the cost thereof, not to exceed $4,558,960.00 (Council Districts: All),’ by including additional Emergency Small Business Support, Housing Stabilization Program, and URA Project Delivery deliverables pertaining to small business development, tenant assistance, homeowner assistance, and URA personnel, raising the total cost thereof to the amount not to exceed $11,905,823.00” by including an additional Economic Development & Housing [Bry Mard Apartments (East Hills) - HVAC Systems (Corrected)] line item for an amount not to exceed $250,000.00 and an increase to the Tenant Assistance (Housing Stabilization Program) line item by an amount not to exceed $2,000,000.00, raising the total cost thereof to the amount not to exceed $14,155,823.00 (Council Districts:  All).

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 605 of 2020, effective December 1, 2020, further amended Resolution No. 863 of 2018, effective January 1, 2019, as amended, entitled "Resolution adopting and approving the 2019 Capital Budget and the 2019 Community Development Block Grant Program, and the 2019 through 2024 Capital Improvement Program," by increasing Community Development Block Grant line items by $3,112,342.00 to reflect the allocation of federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding and authorizing a subsequent Agreement or Agreements.

 

WHEREAS, under Resolution No. 605 of 2020, the deliverable “Bryn Mawr (East Hills) and Other Affordable Preservation - HVAC Systems” was a typographical error and should have appeared as “Bry Mard Apartments (East Hills) And Other Affordable Preservation - HVAC Systems.”

 

 

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     That the correction of the 2019-2020 Community Development Block Grant Program deliverable “Bryn Mawr (East Hills) and Other Affordable Preservation - HVAC Systems” to “Bry Mard Apartments (East Hills) And Other Affordable Preservation - HVAC Systems” is hereby approved.

 

                     That Section 1 of Resolution No. 560 of 2019, effective September 1, 2019, which originally read as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a Cooperation Agreement or Agreements with the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh, in a form approved by the City Solicitor, under which the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh will undertake the following programs and activities in connection with the 2019-2020 Community Development Block Grant Program at a cost not to exceed Four Million Five Hundred Fifty Eight Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty ($4,558,960.00) Dollars, chargeable to and payable from the 2019 Community Development Block Grant Trust Fund as follows:
