Resolution authorizing the approval of the 2021 Housing Opportunity Fund Annual Allocation Plan. (Council Districts All).

WHEREAS, an Ordinance supplementing the Pittsburgh Code of Ordinances, Title Two-Fiscal, Article V-Special Funds, to add a new Chapter [232] 234, “Housing Opportunity Fund”, to stabilize communities and protect the public welfare by creating the Pittsburgh Housing Opportunity Fund (the “Fund”), to create a budget obligation for the Fund to establish the purposes for which monies in the fund may be used; and to create a Housing Opportunity Fund Governing Board and Advisory Board was enacted effective December 29, 2016; and
WHEREAS, funds appropriated from the Opportunity Fund shall be consistent with an annual allocation plan created by the Advisory and Governing Boards outlining the types of programs, projects, and activities that are eligible for Opportunity Fund investment; and
WHEREAS, the Advisory and Governing Boards have approved the 2021 Allocation Plan attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh, as follows:
Section 1. The 2021 Annual Allocation Plan for the Housing Opportunity Fund is hereby approved as of the effective date of this resolution.
