Resolution authorizing the Director of the Department of Innovation & Performance, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to enter into an agreement or agreements, including a non-disclosure agreement, with Mobility Impact Partners LP to engage in strategic, market, and technical dialogue about mobility and energy concerns.

WHEREAS, Mobility Impact Partners LP (“MIP”) is a capital venture organization that wishes to partner with cities to learn about cities’ needs in the mobility and energy sectors in order to create an investment platform in the mobility industry;

 

WHEREAS, the City would like to partner with MIP as a partner city to participate in dialogue with MIP and assist MIP in identifying investment opportunities with projects or organizations that might benefit municipalities; and

 

WHEREAS, the City wishes to enter into an agreement or agreements, including a non-disclosure agreement, in order to partner with MIP and participate in these conversations.

 

 

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Innovation and Performance, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are authorized to enter into an agreement or agreements, including a non-disclosure agreement, to become a partner city with MIP to engage in dialogue concerning mobility and energy concerns.

 

Section 2.                     Said agreement or agreements shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form.
