Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Innovation & Performance to enter into a Fellowship Participation Agreement and/or agreement(s) with CORO Pittsburgh (Public Allies Site)

WHEREAS, CORO (Public Allies Site) operates a local fellowship program for the purpose of providing work experiences to young professionals, to perform important community, recreational, planning, sustainable and project management work for municipal agencies and for non-profit organizations; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to engage one CORO Fellow (Public Allies Site) (the “Fellowship”) to carry out such projects; and
WHEREAS, the total cost for the City to engage a CORO Fellow (Public Allies Site) for a ten-month term is Sixteen Thousand Twelve Dollars ($16,012).
WHEREAS, the length of the contract shall not exceed ten (10 months beginning January 2021 and ending October 2021.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Innovation & Performance are hereby authorized to enter into a Fellowship Participation Agreement with CORO Pittsburgh (Public Allies Site) at a cost not to exceed Thousand Sixteen Thousand Twelve Dollars ($16,012) for the ten-month term. Amounts are chargeable to and payable from the following account:
$16,012.00 from 0329400184.50000.00 Fund 29040
Section 2. Said agreement or agreements and any amendment or amendments shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form and substance.
