Resolution approving the recommendation made by the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure that Brighton Woods Road be paved with asphalt in accordance with Section 417.06 of the Pittsburgh Code of Ordinances.

WHEREAS, the Pittsburgh City Council by Ordinance 42 of 2018 amended Section 417.06 of the City of Pittsburgh Code of Ordinances requires final legislative approval of City Council should the Director of Mobility and Infrastructure recommend asphalt paving of a street that is currently brick, block stone, wood, or concrete.

 

WHEREAS, Brighton Woods Road is currently concrete and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure recommends that such streets have an overlay of asphalt.

 

WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh of wishes to advance the paving of Brighton Woods Road with an asphalt overlay as recommended by the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure.

 

 

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure is authorized to pave Brighton Woods Road from Benton Avenue to Lapish Road with an overlay of asphalt.
