WHEREAS, a planning process with residents and stakeholders in the Upper Hill District community resulted in the Department of Public Works to develop a Program and Conceptual Design for the Robert E. Williams Community Building; and

WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh 2019 Capital Budget includes $1,100,000.00 for Robert E. Williams Community Building - Reconstruction and Design Documents and Construction; and

WHEREAS, on March 27, 2019, the Office of Management and Budget, on behalf of the Department of Public Works, released a Request for Proposals to solicit for professional architecture services to complete design documents; and

WHEREAS, a selection committee chose a proposal by Renaissance 3 Architect for professional architecture services.


Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1 of Resolution No. 504, effective August 1, 2019, which presently reads as follows:

"The Mayor and the Director of Public Works, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement or Agreements, or the use of existing Agreements, between the City of Pittsburgh and Renaissance 3 Architects, for the professional architecture services for Robert E.
