Title

Resolution providing for an amended reimbursement agreement with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for costs associated with the Preliminary Engineering phase of the Penn Avenue Reconstruction Phase II project, and providing for the payment of municipal incurred costs thereof, not to exceed Eight Hundred Twenty Five Thousand ($825,000.00) dollars; federally reimbursable at eighty percent; and the municipal share of Commonwealth Incurred Costs not to exceed Ten Thousand ($10,000.00) dollars.

 

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an amended reimbursement agreement with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for municipal incurred costs associated with the Preliminary Engineering phase of the Penn Avenue Reconstruction Phase II project providing for the payment of municipal incurred costs thereof, not to exceed Eight Hundred Twenty Five Thousand ($825,000.00) dollars, federally reimbursable at eighty percent, representing an increase of Three Hundred Forty Five Thousand ($345,000.00) dollars from the original reimbursement agreement 51553, as authorized by Resolution 99 of 2015; account details to be authorized and encumbered on an individual service agreement basis.

 

Section 2.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an amended Reimbursement Agreement with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Transportation for the municipal portion of Commonwealth Incurred Costs associated with multiple phases of the Penn Avenue Reconstruction Phase II project, at a cost not to exceed Ten Thousand ($10,000.00) dollars, representing no increase from the amount authorized in City of Pittsburgh contracts 51553 and 51553-1, as authorized by Resolution 99 of 2015 and 566 of 2019; chargeable and payable from the following account(s):
