Title

Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation to execute relevant agreements to receive grant funding from the National Recreation and Park Association to provide emergency funding relief for costs incurred by the City’s Summer Food Program due to the Corona Virus and further providing for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed TEN THOUSAND ($10,000.00) dollars for this stated purpose. 

 

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows: 

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation of the City of Pittsburgh are authorized to execute relevant agreements with the National Recreation and Park Association in order to receive a grant award in the amount of TEN THOUSAND ($10,000.00) dollars for the purpose of providing emergency funding relief for costs incurred by the City’s Summer Food Program due to the Corona Virus. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust fund account 5029400328.48311.00. 

 

Section 2.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation of the City of Pittsburgh are further authorized to enter into agreements, or contracts, or utilize existing agreements or contracts not to exceed TEN THOUSAND ($10,000.00) dollars for the purpose of providing emergency funding relief for costs incurred by the City’s Summer Food Program due to the Corona Virus under the terms of the agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the National Recreation and Park Association chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund account 5029400328.50000.00.
