Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh is authorized to execute relevant agreements with the Cities for Financial Empowerment (CFE) Fund in order to receive a grant award of $20,000 to fund research and an implementation plan for Financial Empowerment Centers within the City of Pittsburgh. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 0229400226.48311.00.

 

Section 2.                     The Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh is further authorized to enter into an Agreement, or Contract, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts and not to exceed $80,000 dollars, for planning the creation of Financial Empowerment Centers to provide all city residents with the opportunity to access one-on-one financial coaching services under the terms of the agreement between the City and the Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund account 0229400226.50000.00.
