Resolution authorizing the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh to acquire all the City's right, title and interest, if any, in and to the publicly-owned properties in the 12th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh designated in the Deed Registry Office of Allegheny County as Block 125-G, Lots 42, 43, 51, and 64, located at the north side of Kelly Street, between 5th Avenue on the west and the railroad right-of-way on the east, and the south side of Frankstown Avenue, also between 5th Avenue on the west and the railroad right-of-way on the east (Council District No. 9).

Whereas, the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh desires to acquire all the City's right, title and interest, if any, in and to publicly-owned properties known as Block 125-G, Lots 42, 43, 51, and 64 in the 12th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, for the sum of $1.00 plus all necessary and incidental expenses relating to such acquisition; and

 

Whereas, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh desires to give approval to the acquisition by Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh.

 

 

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     That the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh is hereby authorized to acquire, for the sum of $1.00 plus all necessary and incidental expenses relating to such acquisition, all the City's right, title and interest, if any, in and to publicly-owned properties known as Block 125-G, Lots 42, 43, 51, and 64, located at the north side of Kelly Street, between 5th Avenue on the west and the railroad right-of-way on the east, and the south side of Frankstown Avenue, also between 5th Avenue on the west and the railroad right-of-way on the east, in the 12th Ward of the city of Pittsburgh (Council District No.9).

 

Section 2.                     That the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh is authorized to incur said necessary and incidental expenses in connection with said acquisition.
