Title

Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure to enter into a contribution and cooperation agreement with the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority (PWSA) for certain utility relocation and other work elements in connection with the Allegheny Circle Two-Way Conversion project.

 

Body

Whereas, the City is advancing the Allegheny Circle Two-Way Conversion project (“Project”), which will reconfigure vehicle travel lanes and include the upgrading of signals, pavement markings, delineation, signing, removal of concrete islands, reconfiguration of the intersections to protected intersections, and bump outs in the City’s North Side neighborhood; and

 

WHEREAS, as part of the Project, certain facilities of the PWSA must be relocated, constructed, or otherwise adjusted; and

 

WHEREAS, the City now wishes to enter into an agreement with PWSA to provide for the utility relocation, construction, other adjustments made necessary as a result of the Project.

 

 

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure are authorized to enter into a contribution and cooperation agreement with PWSA for certain utility relocation and other work elements in connection with the Allegheny Circle Two-Way Conversion project.
