Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.                     The Mayor and Director of the Department of Public Works are authorized to apply for grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ Community Conservation Partnerships Program to provide funding to update the City’s Urban Forest Master Plan.  The total project cost is up to $70,000.00.  The grant proposal includes an ask of up to $35,000 with a local match of up to $35,000 to come out of the 2021 City of Pittsburgh Shade Tree Trust Fund.
