Title

Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works to enter into a Project Cooperation Agreement or Professional Services Agreements with Grounded Strategies for the purposes of implementing a CityFarms pilot project, in an amount not to exceed $45,000.

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works are hereby authorized to enter into a Project Cooperation Agreement with Grounded Strategies, pursuant to which Grounded Strategies will create a City Farm or Farms at various locations in the City, including Brookline Memorial Park.  The Department of Public Works is authorized to provide funding in an amount not to exceed $45,000 chargeable to and payable from the following accounts.  The form and substance of the Project Cooperation Agreement or Profesional Services is subject to the approval of the City Solicitor as to form and substance.
