Resolution providing for a Professional Service Agreement with Jeffrey Ruder, Esq. for legal services related to the enforcement of City Code Chapter 659.03 Unlawful Housing Practices in an amount not to exceed Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00).

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Human Relations Commission, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into a professional service Agreement/Agreements, in the form approved by the City Solicitor with Jeffrey Ruder, Esq. for legal services related to the enforcement of City Code Chapter 659.03 Unlawful Housing Practices, enforced by the Commission, in an amount not to exceed Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00), chargeable and payable from JD Edwards as outlined in Section 2.B.
Section 2.A. This agreement would begin in 2020 with the initial Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($25,000.00), with the City having the option to renew annually for up to two (2) additional years at the rate of Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($25,000.00) per year, but not to exceed a total of Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($75,000.00) in any event over the course of the total three (3) years contemplated herein.
Section 2.B. The City Controller shall encumber funds for the annual contract, as requested by the Human Relations Commission, as follows:
