Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.                     The Mayor and Director of the Department of Public Works are authorized to apply for grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ Community Conservation Partnerships Program to provide funding for the West Penn Playground Reconstruction Project.  The total project cost is $150,000.00.  The grant proposal includes an ask of $75,000 with a local match of $75,000 to come out of the 2020 City of Pittsburgh Operating Budget (11101.450000.56.56401.2020) in the form of in-kind work.  In the event the grant is awarded, this resolution provides for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed ONE HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND ($150,000.00) dollars for this stated purpose.
