WHEREAS, Quinn Andreas Reppe, of Scout Troop 109, earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in scouting based on responsibility, leadership, service and outdoor skills; and,
WHEREAS, as a member of Boy Scout Troop 109, Quinn served as Assistant Senior Patrol Leader and Senior Patrol Leader; and,
WHEREAS, for his Eagle Scout service project, Quinn refurbished a gazebo and re-mulched the land around the gazebo at the Second United Presbyterian Church in Wilkinsburg and installed a pathway to the church door through the newly landscaped lawn; and,
WHEREAS, the idea for the path came when Quinn observed that it was difficult for food bank volunteers and some churchgoers to access the church; and,
WHEREAS, Quinn organized and lead a group of volunteers for the projects and completed the work using donations from Troop 109 and family members; and,

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend and congratulate Eagle Scout Quinn Reppe for his outstanding achievement of attaining the rank of Eagle Scout; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Wednesday, March 4, 2020 to be “Quinn Andreas Reppe Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
