Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. Resolution authorizing the issuance of three (3) warrants for the total sum of Seventy Thousand Dollars and No Cents ($70,000) relating to the settlement of a lawsuit filed at 2:18-cv-00864 in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. The payment distribution of this total amount shall be broken down as follows:
(i) $17,751.62 shall be paid to Robert Mahouski from the Fire Bureau Salary Account chargeable to: JDE 11101.250000.51.51101.2020 representing back wages reported to the IRS on Form W-2 and with 7% (6.5% by statute and .5% deducted by contract) deducted for pension dues;
(ii) $17,751.62 shall be paid to Robert Mahouski, chargeable to: JDE 11101.108000.58.58105.2020 representing compensatory damages, reported to the IRS of Form 1099; and
(iii) $34,496.76 shall be paid to Rothman Gordon, P.C. representing the fees and costs associated with the case, chargeable to: JDE 11101.108000.58.58105.2020.
