Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Director of the Office of Management and Budget to execute relevant agreements to receive grant funding from the Richard King Mellon Foundation to purchase a regenerative street sweeper to assist in the ongoing removal of debris from the new bike trail at Hazelwood Green and other permeable surfaces and further providing for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY SEVEN THOUSAND ($187,000.00) dollars for this stated purpose.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Office of Management and Budget of the City of Pittsburgh are authorized to execute relevant agreements with the Richard King Mellon Foundation to receive a grant award in the amount of ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY SEVEN ($187,000.00) dollars for the purpose of purchasing a regenerative street sweeper to assist in the ongoing removal of debris from the new bike trail at Hazelwood Green and other permeable surfaces in the City of Pittsburgh. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 4029400308.48311.00.

 

Section 2.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Office of Management and Budget of the City of Pittsburgh are further authorized to enter into agreements or contracts, or utilize existing agreement or contracts and not to exceed ONE HUDRED EIGHTY SEVEN THOUSAND ($187,000.00) dollars for the purpose of purchasing a regenerative street sweeper to assist in the ongoing removal of debris from the new bike trail at Hazelwood Green and other permeable surfaces under the terms of the agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the Richard King Mellon Foundation chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund account 4029400308.50000.00. 

 

Finally, that any Ordinance or Resolution or part thereof conflicting with the provisions of this Resolution, is hereby repealed so far as the same affects this Resolution.
