WHEREAS, The Hill District Rebels Football Organization is comprised of 5 teams: Baby Twerps, Twerps, Termites, Mighty Mites and Midgets.
WHEREAS, currently each team registers 25-30 kids per team, between the ages of 5-13 years, providing activity, team building, character building, and establishing pride in community, for the kids of the Greater Hill District.
WHEREAS, it has not been ever documented in the City of Pittsburgh of any Midget Football team ever going undefeated by each of its teams
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize President Tywone Bray, the coaches of each of the teams and most importantly the players of the 2019 Hill District Rebels Football Organization.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby proclaim Friday, November 15, 2019 as “The Hill District Rebels Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
