Be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:

 

Section 1 of Resolution No. 385, effective June 14, 2019 which presently reads as follows, “The Mayor and Director of the Department of Public Works are authorized to apply for grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Developments Greenways, Trails and Recreation Program (GTRP) to provide funding for the renovation of the Riverview Park Entrance at Mairdale Avenue.  The total project cost is $287,500.00.  The grant proposal includes an ask of $250,000.00 with a local match of $37,500.00 to be funded from the 2020 City of Pittsburgh Capital Budget (JDE 4550000220, FUND 40020).  In the event the grant is awarded, this resolution provides for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED ($287,500.00) dollars for this stated purpose.”

 

is hereby amended to read as follows:

 

Section 1   The Mayor and Director of the Department of Public Works, are authorized to accept grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Developments Greenways, Trails and Recreation Program (GTRP) to provide funding for the renovation of the Riverview Park Entrance at Mairdale Avenue.  The grant has an awarded amount of TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($200,000.00), to be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund, JDE JOB NO. 4029400295.45505.00, FUND 29040.

 

Section 2   The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works are further authorized to enter into Agreements, or Contracts, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts, not to exceed the full project amount of TWO HUNDRED THIRTY SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($237,500.00), for the renovation of the Riverview Park Entrance at Mairdale Avenue, under the terms of the agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the Pennsylvania Department of Economic Development.  These charges are payable from the Grants Trust Fund account 4029400295.50000.00, up to TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($200,000.00) with a local match of $37,500.00, to be funded from the 2020 City of Pittsburgh Capital Budget (JDE 4550000220, FUND 40020).

 

Section 3   In all other respects, Resolution No. 385, effective June 14, 2019, as amended, remains unchanged and in full force and effect.
