Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Director of City Planning to receive eighty-thousand ($80,000.00) dollars grant award per agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, executed 5/15/19, to support the development of an Emerald View Park Master Plan, and to further enter into contract to hire consultants Merritt / Chase to develop aforementioned master plan with additional City expenditures (local match) not to exceed fifty-five thousand ($55,000.00) dollars, for a total contract value not to exceed one-hundred and thirty-five thousand ($135,000.00) dollars.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of City Planning are authorized to receive eighty-thousand ($80,000.00) dollars of grant funding per agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, executed 5/15/19, to support the development of an Emerald View Park Master Plan. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 1129400289.45505.00.
Section 2. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of City Planning are further authorized to enter into contract to hire a consultant, Merritt Chase LLC, to develop a master plan for Emerald View Park. The park master plan shall be executed for a sum not to exceed one-hundred and thirty-five thousand ($135,000.00) dollars. This cost includes community outreach, inventory/analysis, plan alternatives, and final master plan.
Funds shall be paid from the following accounts:
$55,000.00 Comprehensive Plans 1126717318 Item #22222-30 Fund# 40118
$80,000.00 Grants Trust Fund 1129400289.50000.00
Section 3. Said Agreement or Agreements shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form and substance.
