Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement or agreements between  the City of Pittsburgh and McCaffery Interests, Inc. and/or the Urban Redevelopment Authority in connection with:  1)  improvements to the cartway at the Strip District Terminal at 1600 Smallman Street  and as depicted as Parcel A on the diagram attached hereto, and 2) for access to make those improvements to the cartway, and for 3) the City to perform temporary operation and maintenance of the cartway, all in anticipation of a future public Right of Way, public parking, public operation and maintenance of the cartway, and potential public dedication of the cartway at the site.
