Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Director of City Planning to enter into a Fellowship Participation Agreement and the University of Pittsburgh, not to exceed $3,600, for fiscal year 2019.

WHEREAS, the City wishes to engage fellows from the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work for placement to carry out projects related to civic engagement programs; and

 

WHEREAS, the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work operates a field placement fellowship program for the purpose of providing work experiences for master’s-level students, to perform important community, recreational, planning, sustainable and project management work for municipal agencies and for non-profit organizations.

 

 

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and Director of City Planning are hereby authorized to enter into a Fellowship Participation Agreement with  the University of Pittsburgh at a cost not to exceed Three Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($3,600), which shall be payable from the following account number:

11101.110000.53.53901.2019

 

Section 2.                     The Fellowship Participation Agreements shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form and substance.
