Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Executive Director of the Gender Equity Commission are authorized to receive a grant from the Grantmakers of Western Pennsylvania in the amount of ONE THOUSAND ($1,000.00) dollars for the purpose of conducting a listening tour in which Commissioners will engage with youth to identify existing intersectional inequalities and offer ideas to improve equity in Pittsburgh.  Monies from the grant shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 0229400276.48311.00.

 

Section 2.                     The Mayor and the Executive Director of the Gender Equity Commission are further authorized to enter into Agreements, or Contracts, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts and not to exceed ONE THOUSAND ($1,000.00) dollars for the purpose of conducting a listening tour in which Commissioners will engage with youth to identify existing intersectional inequalities and offer ideas to improve equity in Pittsburgh chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund account 0229400276.50000.00.
