Title

Resolution approving the recommendation of the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure that Flora Street, Fort Duquesne Boulevard inbound and outbound, Broad Street, Ansley Street, Beatty Street, Oranmore Street and Reedsdale Street be paved with asphalt accordance with Section 417.06 of the Pittsburgh Code of Ordinances.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Pittsburgh City Council by Ordinance 42 of 2018 amended Section 417.06 of the City of Pittsburgh Code of Ordinances to require final legislative approval of City Council should the Director of Mobility and Infrastructure recommend asphalt paving of a street that is currently brick, block stone, wood, or concrete.

 

WHEREAS, Flora Street, Fort Duquesne Boulevard inbound and outbound, Broad Street, Ansley Street, and Oranmore Street are currently concrete and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure recommends that such streets have an overlay of asphalt.

 

WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh of wishes to advance the paving of Flora Street, Fort Duquesne Boulevard inbound and outbound, Broad Street, Ansley Street, and Oranmore Street with an asphalt overlay as recommended by the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure 

 

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1: The Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure is authorized to pave that Flora Street, Fort Duquesne Boulevard inbound and outbound, Broad Street, Ansley Street, and Beatty Street, Oranmore Street and Reedsdale Street, with an overlay of asphalt.
