Title

Resolution authorizing the Mayor, the Director of the Department of Public Works, and/or the Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation to execute relevant agreements to receive grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Aging’s Senior Community Center Grant Program to renovate the Brighton Heights Healthy Active Living Center, and further providing for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND ($100,000.00) dollars for this stated purpose.

 

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor, the Director of the Department of Public Works and/or the Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation of the City of Pittsburgh, are authorized to execute relevant agreements with the Pennsylvania Department of Aging to receive a grant award in the amount of ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND ($100,000.00) dollars for the purpose of renovating the Brighton Heights Healthy Active Living Center in the City of Pittsburgh.  Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 4029400277.45505.00.

 

Section 2.  The Mayor, the Director of the Department of Public Works and/or the Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation, are further authorized to enter into an Agreements or Agreements, a Contract or Contracts, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts not to exceed ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND ($100,000.00) dollars for the purpose of renovating the Brighton Heights Healthy Active Living Center in the City of Pittsburgh under the terms of the agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the Pennsylvania Department of Aging. Costs are chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund account 4029400277.50000.00.
