Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and Director of the Department of Public Works are authorized to apply for grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Developments Greenways, Trails and Recreation Program (GTRP) to provide funding for the renovation of multimodal trails located within South Side Park.  The total project cost is $287,500.00.  The grant proposal includes an ask of $250,000.00 with a local match of $37,500.00 to be funded from the 2020 City of Pittsburgh Capital Budget (JDE 4550000420 FUND 40020).  In the event the grant is awarded, this resolution provides for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED ($287,500.00) dollars for this stated purpose.
