Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Donation Agreement with the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy to accept a donation for materials to repair and improve the Nine Mile Run Trail in Frick Park, and further authorizing the Director of the Department of Public Works to enter into an agreement with the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy accepting the donations for this purpose.

WHEREAS, the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy has offered to donate materials to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City’s Department of Public Works has conducted an in-house review and has recommended acceptance of this gift for the benefit of the public; and
WHEREAS, the City would now like to accept this gift and intends to use this gift as the donor wishes, for repairs and improvements to the Nine Mile Run Trail in Frick Park, and
WHEREAS, the City now wishes to accept the donation and to enter into an Agreement with the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy reflecting the donation and the intended use.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. On behalf of the City, the Mayor is authorized to accept a donation for materials from the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy.
Section 2. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement with the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy regarding the donation to be used for repairs and improvements to the Nine Mile Run Trail in Frick Park. All agreements will be approved by the City Solicitor as to form and substance.
