Title: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh sends its sincerest condolences to the family of Tracey Lynn Worthy for sharing her contagious positive attitude and always brightening the lives of those around her. Tracey will always be remembered as a genuine loving and caring individual by her family, co-workers, and community members; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, April 9th, 2019 until Tuesday, April 16th, 2019 to be "Tracey Worthy Week" in the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, Tracey Lynn Worthy was born on August 3rd, 1967 in the Manchester neighborhood of the Northside. She was raised in the Northside and lived there her entire life; and,

 

WHEREAS, Tracey joined her mother in heaven on March 14th, 2019. She resided with her father and brother in the Northside. Tracey also resided with her two sons, Tony and JT, to whom she was fiercely devoted; and,

 

WHEREAS, Tracey obtained an Art History degree, but instead decided to pursue a career as a paramedic. She became a City of Pittsburgh paramedic on June 5th, 1995. With 24 years of dedicated service, Tracey was given the nickname “Night Rover” and spread many smiles and laughs. She was beloved by her co-workers and the city residents whose lives she touched; and,
