Resolution approving the appointment of five (5) members of the East Liberty TRID Revitalization Authority Board of Directors. (Council Districts 7, 8 and 9)

Whereas, by Resolution No. 677, effective October 23, 2013, the City of Pittsburgh organized the East Liberty TRID Revitalization Authority (the “Authority”) under the provisions of the Municipality Authorities Act (53 PA.C.S.A.§5601 et.seq), as amended (the “Authorities Act”), setting forth and authorizing execution of Articles of Incorporation; appointing and fixing terms of the first members of the board of such authority; authorizing all such other necessary action; and repealing all inconsistent ordinances, resolutions or parts of ordinances or resolutions; and
Whereas, in compliance with the requirements of the Authorities Act, and according to the Articles of Incorporation of the Authority, the City wishes to authorize the appointment of five members of the board of the Authority representing the City of Pittsburgh, the County of Allegheny, the Pittsburgh Public School District, the Port Authority of Allegheny County, and the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh, as follows:
