Ordinance amending and supplementing Pittsburgh Code, Title One, Administrative, Article IX-Boards, Commissions and Authorities, Chapter 179A, Clean Pittsburgh Commission: Section 179A.01 subsections (a) and (g); 170A.02 Commission Members, subsections (a) and (b); 179A.03 Meetings and Chair, subsection (g); 179A.04 Powers and Duties of the Commission, subsection (d); 179A.05 Reauthorization of the Commission; and 179A.06 Effective Date to update the purposes, meeting rules, membership, activities and remove the requirement that the Commission be reauthorized.

Whereas, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh officially adopted Ordinance 28, effective 8-8-2005, setting forth the composition, functions, and reporting requirements of the Commission; and
Whereas, the Clean Pittsburgh Commission has refined their role to meet current needs; and
Whereas, the Clean Pittsburgh Commission membership must be updated to ensure the current needs are met; and
Whereas, the Clean Pittsburgh Commission has demonstrated the need for an ongoing commitment to the established purposes.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. Ordinance amending and supplementing Pittsburgh Code, Title One, Administrative, Article IX-Boards, Commissions and Authorities, Chapter 179A, Clean Pittsburgh Commission: Section 179A.01 subsections (a) and (g); 170A.02 Commission Members, subsections (a) and (b); 179A.03 Meetings and Chair, subsection (g); 179A.04 Powers and Duties of the Commission, subsection (d); 179A.05 Reauthorization of the Commission; and 179A.06 Effective Date to update the purposes, meeting rules, membership, activities and remove the requirement that the Commission be reauthorized.
