Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. Resolution number 231 of 2018, effective April 11, 2018, is hereby amended as follows, in order to change the account numbers in section 3 from negative expenditures to revenues, and to add a Section 4 authorizing contract amendments:


Section 2. The Mayor and Director of Public Safety are hereby authorized to enter on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh into an Agreement with the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh ("HACP") for the provision of above-baseline services to the HACP by the City of Pittsburgh Department of Public Safety and Bureau of Police.

Section 3. The Agreement shall include any provisions necessary to ensure HACP compliance with any and all applicable laws, rules, and regulations regarding the use of federal housing funds for security purposes, including requirement that local police services paid for by the agency be above the baseline of services already provided to all City residents, and be documented as required by federal rule.

Section 4. The Agreement shall be for a three (3) year term with compensation to the City not to exceed FOUR MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS and NO CENTS ($4,500,000.00). Said payments received from HACP shall be deposited into one or more of the following account(s) in amounts as designated below and according to their respective budget years:
