Resolution authorizing the Mayor and/or the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh to apply for and execute a Water Obstruction and Encroachment Permit with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection “DEP” as well as associated environmental permits with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers for the purposes of certain City work in and around the vicinity of Streets Run.

WHEREAS, the City is considering the performance of certain work in and around the area of Streets Run; and
WHEREAS, the performance of this work may require execution of a Water Obstruction and Encroachment Permit with the DEP as well as additional environmental permits with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to now apply for and execute the relevant permitting documents.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PITTSBURGH AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Mayor and/or the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh are authorized to apply for and execute a Water Obstruction and Encroachment Permit with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection “DEP” as well as associated environmental permits with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers for the purposes of certain City work in and around the vicinity of Streets Run.
