Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Director of the Department of Public Works to execute relevant agreements to receive grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development’s Greenways, Trails, and Recreation Program for Arsenal Park Phase I Design: Linking Park, School and Community to Promote Play, School Connectivity and further providing for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed ONE HUNDRED TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND ($125,000.00) dollars for this stated purpose.

 

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works of the City of Pittsburgh are authorized to execute relevant agreements with the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development in order to receive a grant award in the amount of ONE HUNDRED TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND ($125,000.00) dollars for the purpose of completing Arsenal Park Phase I Design: Linking Park, School and Community to Promote Play, School Connectivity in the City of Pittsburgh.  Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 4029400256.45505.00.

 

Section 2.  The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works of the City of Pittsburgh are further authorized to enter into Agreements, or Contracts, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts and not to exceed ONE HUNDRED TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND ($125,000.00) dollars for the purpose of  completing Arsenal Park Phase I Design: Linking Park, School and Community to Promote Play, School Connectivity in the City of Pittsburgh  under the terms of the agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund account 4029400256.50000.00.
