Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure (DOMI) to execute relevant agreements to receive grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s Green Light - Go Grant for Central business district signal improvements and further providing for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed THREE MILLION FIVE HUNDRED SIXTY THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED SIXTY FIVE ($3,560,565.00) dollars for this stated purpose.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure (DOMI) of the City of Pittsburgh are authorized to execute relevant agreements with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in order to receive a grant award in the amount of THREE MILLION FIVE HUNDRED SIXTY THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED SIXTY FIVE ($3,560,565.00) dollars for the purpose of Central Business District signal improvements.  Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 6029400253.45505.00.

 

Section 2.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure  (DOMI) of the City of Pittsburgh are further authorized to enter into Agreements, or Contracts, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts and not to exceed THREE MILLION FIVE HUNDRED SIXTY THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED SIXTY FIVE ($3,560,565.00) dollars for the purposes of Central Business District signal improvements under the terms of the agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund account 6029400253.50000.00.
