Beatty Street, Mignonette Street and Tamello Way - Council District No. 9

Body

Whereas, the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh has requested that the City execute a Deed by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the City of Pittsburgh, in connection with the sale of Block 84-B, Lots 172, 240 and 256 for $1.00, said property being located in the 8^th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh; and

Whereas, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh believes that the proposed conveyance is in the best interest of the City of Pittsburgh and desires to give its approval in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Redevelopment Law.

Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved By The Council Of The City Of Pittsburgh As Follows:

Section 1.  That execution of a Deed by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the City of Pittsburgh in connection with the sale of Block 84-B, Lots 172, 240 and 256 for $1.00, said property being located in the 8th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, be and the same is hereby approved,

Section 2.  That acceptance of the aforementioned Deed by the City of Pittsburgh is hereby approved.
