WHEREAS, on August 17, 1928, Geraldine Anne Watson, was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania; and, 

WHEREAS, Geraldine married Raymond Frederick Bright, Jr., and they were blessed with two sons, Raymond Frederick and Alexander Joseph, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and,

WHEREAS, Geraldine Anne Bright raised her children while working during the Second World War, followed by forty-two years tending bar at Dee’s Café on South Side’s East Carson Street; and,

WHEREAS, Geraldine Anne Bright has been a faithful fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and The Pittsburgh Steelers and attributes her longevity to her “love of Iron City Beer”; and,

WHEREAS, everyone is welcome to join a birthday celebration for Geraldine at 3 P.M on Saturday, August 18^th at Dee’s Café at 1314 East Carson; and,
