Title: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend Rev. Richourg for her life dedicated to education and ministry; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Saturday, August 11, 2018, to be "Reverend Lisa R. Richbourg Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, Rev. Lisa R. Richbourg was employed with the Pittsburgh Public School Board for over 25 years as a classroom volunteer in the Pittsburgh Public Schools Head Start Program to her retired position of Assessment Assistant. Teaching and reaching people has always been her passion and she is known for spending countless hours ministering to people "outside" the church; and,

WHEREAS, Rev. Richbourg received her education Ministry and in 1994 she enrolled in Harty Bible School. After graduating from Harty Bible School in 1998, she later enrolled in Robert Morris University receiving a Bachelor of Science in Organization Leadership in May, 2008. She continued her education with a Graduate Degree in Business Administration from Point Park University in May, 2009; and,

WHEREAS, In August 2010 she preached her initial sermon and was granted licensure to preach the Gospel, and in December of 2013 she successfully completed ordination at Central Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Victor J. Grigsby. During her time at Central Baptist Church, she served in many capacities including Executive Director for the Music Ministry, Youth Ministry Director and Disciples for Christ teacher. Her passion for teaching allowed her to teach the S.A.L.T. (Seven Areas of Life Training) Curriculum at Central and Second Baptist Church in Ford City where she assisted Pastor Kent Commodore on a monthly basis; and,

WHEREAS, Beginning January 2015, in response to the prompting of the Holy Spirit, she began to teach Bible Study weekly at Pilgrim Baptsit Church on the Northside of Pittsburgh, while they were without a Pastor. On June 18, 2017, God called her to the Pilgrim Baptist Church vineyard as the first female pastor; and,

WHEREAS, She is married to Minister Mashall Richbourg and they are the proud parents of five children and nine grand-children who are her pride and joy. Her life's philosophy is to always be available when God calls her into action. Romans 8:28...
