Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety are authorized, pursuant to City Code Ch. 210 (“Acceptance of Gifts to City”), to accept a donation from BNY Mellon of fully depreciated office cubicle systems and free-standing office furniture whose value totals an estimated One-Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($130,000), which shall be used for the purpose of furnishing the City’s Bureau of Police Northview Heights Substation and redesigning office spaces of the Group Violence Intervention Unit at Police Headquarters.
