Whereas, Resolution No. 252, effective May 8, 2017, authorized the execution of a cooperation agreement or agreements with the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh (the "URA") providing for reimbursement from the URA of certain costs to be incurred by the City of Pittsburgh related to Smallman Street in the Strip District of the City of Pittsburgh;

Whereas, pursuant to Resolution No. 745, effective December 8, 2017, authorization was granted for the City to accept grant funding in the amount of $457,412.56; and

Whereas, the URA has agreed to further provide grant funding to the City in an additional amount not to exceed $3,700,000 $1,000,000, payable from proceeds of financing from the Smallman Street TIF District a Multimodal Transportation grant from the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) /PA Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED), to fund a portion of the design and construction contracts for the Smallman Street Public Improvement Project.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
