Title

Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure (DOMI) to execute relevant agreements to receive grant funding from the Heinz Endowments to support the City of Tomorrow Challenge and further providing for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND ($100,000.00) dollars for this stated purpose.

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure (DOMI) of the City of Pittsburgh are authorized to execute relevant agreements with the Heinz Endowments in order to receive a grant award in the amount of ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND ($100,000.00) dollars for the purpose of participating in the City of Tomorrow Challenge.  Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 6029400243.48311.00.

Section 2.  The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure  (DOMI) of the City of Pittsburgh are further authorized to enter into Agreements, or Contracts, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts and not to exceed ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND ($100,000.00) dollars for the purposes of participating in the City of Tomorrow Challenge under the terms of the agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the Heinz Endowments chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund account 6029400243.50000.00.
