In the event the grant is awarded, this resolution provides for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND ($250,000.00) dollars for this stated purpose.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and Director of the Department of Public Works are authorized to apply for grant funding from the PA Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) Greenways Trails and Recreation Program (GTRP) to provide funding for the reconstruction of the Robert E. Williams community center located in the Robert E. Williams Memorial Park. The total project cost is $750,000.00.  The grant proposal includes an ask of $250,000 with a local match of $500,000 to come out of the 2019 City of Pittsburgh Capital Budget.  In the event the grant is awarded, this resolution provides for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND ($250,000.00) dollars for this stated purpose.
