Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. The Mayor and Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure are authorized to apply for grant funding from the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) Community Conservation Partnerships Program (C2P2) to provide funding for the West End Trolley Trail Project that will repurpose an old trolley right-of-way in the underserved West End section of our City. In the event the grant is awarded, this resolution provides for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed TWO HUNDRED NINETY-TWO THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED ($292,400.00) dollars for this stated purpose.

Section 2. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure of the City of Pittsburgh are further authorized, provided this grant is awarded, to enter into an Agreement, or Contract, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts, in a form approved by the City Solicitor and not to exceed an additional TWO HUNDRED SIX THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED NINETY-NINE ($206,399) dollars cash match, and ONE HUNDRED TEN THOUSAND ($110,000) dollars in in-kind contributions for the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) Community Conservation Partnerships Program (C2P2) to provide funding for renovations to the West End Trolley Trail chargeable to and payable from the 2017 Ca...
