Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure and the Director of the Department of Public Works, on behalf of the City, to enter into an Agreement or Agreements with the Urban Redevelopment Authority and Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority, in connection with improvement projects in the Four Mile Run watershed.

WHEREAS, the City wants to begin the implementation of a mobility project in the Four Mile Run watershed, which runs from Oakland to the Monongahela River, which may include relocation/new construction of bike trails, pedestrian walkways, vehicular cartways, public space improvements, and green stormwater infrastructure;
WHEREAS, the City wishes to cooperate with the Urban Redevelopment Authority and Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority in the project design and engineering for green and stormwater infrastructure, park amenities, and mobility infrastructure;
WHEREAS, the City will provide certain reimbursement to the Urban Redevelopment Authority during the project in an amount not-to-exceed $120,000.
WHEREAS, the City now wishes to enter into a cooperation agreement with the Urban Redevelopment Authority and Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority to document the project responsibilities of each party.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure, and the Director of the Department of Public Works, on behalf of the City, are now authorized to enter into an Agreement or Agreements with the Urban Redevelopment Authority and Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority to facilitate cooperation on a green infrastructure project in the Four Mile Run watershed, which may include relocation and new construction of bike trails, pedestrian walkways, vehicular cartways, public space improvements, and green stormwater infrastructure.
