Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Innovation & Performance to enter into an Agreement, Agreements, or Amendments with CDW Government LLC for the three year extension of our current Microsoft enterprise license agreement for a sum not to exceed Three Million Thirty Thousand dollars ($3,030,000.00) over the three year period.

WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh currently uses Microsoft email, desktop applications, and operating systems to support critical technology infrastructure for the City workforce; and
WHEREAS, continued access to Microsoft tools is important for business continuity across all City departments;
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Innovation & Performance, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement, Agreements, or Amendments with CDW Government LLC for the three year extension of our current Microsoft enterprise license agreement for a sum not to exceed Three Million Thirty Thousand dollars ($3,030,000.00) over the three year period.
Funds shall be allocated as subject to annual appropriation by City Council in future years:
2018: $1,003,452.73 from 11101.103000.53.53509.2018
2019: $1,011,458.29 from 11101.103000.53.53509.2019
2020: $1,015,088.98 from 11101.103000.53.53509.2020
Section 2. The Agreement or Agreements are subject to the approval of the City Solicitor as to form and substance.
