WHEREAS, high quality, affordable and accessible woman-centered healthcare, provided by Adagio Health enhances the well-being and quality of life for all citizens of western Pennsylvania; and,
WHEREAS, for over 40 years Adagio Health has been a safety net for patients and plays a role part in helping patients understand their medical and nutritional needs as well as empower them to become effective advocates for themselves and their families; and,
WHEREAS, Adagio Health has earned the respect of the public for its dedication and contributions to healthcare, health and wellness education, and nutrition education delivery and for working collaboratively with policymakers and other service providers to ensure efficient and accessible healthcare for all; and,

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare March 22, 2018 to be “Adagio Health Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
