Body

WHEREAS, we as a nation have had to face the terror and agony of bearing witness to the untimely demise of innocent men and women, young children, teachers, first responders and many more because of inaction; and,

WHEREAS, the loss of life and subsequent bottomless grief has been intolerable and we as a nation have tried to protect our most vulnerable but it hasn't been enough and we cannot continue to fail; and,

WHEREAS, it is time for hope, it is time for reason, it is time for reasonable solutions; and,

WHEREAS, thoughts and prayers are not enough and we must therefore, commit ourselves to

action; and,
