Title

Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Human Resources and Civil Service to enter into an Agreement with Strategic Claims Direction LLC for services relating to the auditing the TPA administrating the City’s workers’ compensation program, for a sum not to exceed Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($400,000.00) over four years and for the payment of the costs thereof.

 

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Human Resources and Civil Service, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement with Strategic Claims Direction LLC for services relating to the auditing the TPA administrating the City’s workers’ compensation program, for a sum not to exceed Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($400,000.00) over four years and for the payment of the costs thereof. Future year authorization is subject to annual appropriation by City Council.

 

Funds shall be paid from the following accounts:

 

2018: $100,000.00 from 9993817000.52301.00, Item #22222-7

2019: $100,000.00 from 9993817000.52301.00, Item #22222-7

2020: $100,000.00 from 9993817000.52301.00, Item #22222-7

2021: $100,000.00 from 9993817000.52301.00, Item #22222-7

 

Section 2.                     Said Agreement or Agreements shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form and substance.
