Title

Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Director of the Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission to enter into a grant agreement with an organization to manage the 2018 HirePGH program, which incentivizes Pittsburgh businesses to hire City residents that are recipients of the Pittsburgh Promise, for an amount not to exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000).

 

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission are hereby authorized to enter into a grant agreement with an organization for the management of the 2017 HirePGH program in an amount not to exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars, payable from the following account: 11101.109000.58.58101.2017, Item #22222-40.

 

Section 2.                     Said Agreement or Agreements shall be in a form approved by the City Solicitor.

 

Section 3.                     At the conclusion of the program, the selected organization shall issue a report to the Pittsburgh City Council detailing the achievements of the program.
